Lynn Harold Vogel, Ph.D., is vice president and chief
information officer at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer
Center in Houston, Texas, a $2B clinical, research and teaching
institution that is the world’s largest and highest rated facility
devoted to the cure and care of cancer. As the senior IT executive
managing a more-than 600 person IT organization, he is leading the
in-house development of M.D. Anderson’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
with a major focus on the integration of research and clinical data.
